Microsoft also has a deal with Electronic Arts to include EA Play inside Game Pass-so every Game Pass subscription now includes EA’s own subscription service, with dozens of EA classics from the last three console generations. Game Pass already had a deep lineup that features most of Microsoft’s first party games, including the entire Halo and Gear of Wars series, along with a rotating selection of top games from third party publishers and independent developers. Will it work long term? Who knows, but for now it’s a fantastic deal for consumers.
