![]() Whatever, I will stop bitching about this, but ffs just stop asking how I expected mods to be available. I know it's not the point as that specific mod basically remade the whole game, but it's hard to go back to vanilla after seeing so much awesome stuff. Median XL already solved that by converting all auras to timed buffs for example. ![]() I can't right click attack and have an aura active at the same time. God, I just played a bit with my Paladin. The game is still the same, with the same old bugs and archaical design. So, again, supporting some old mods has nothing to do with technical limitations, they didn't rebuild the game. Many mods probably count as cheating for them and they don't want them around. The rest, the only reason they stopped working is because Blizzard don't want them around and they want to keep control of their game. Also the ones that added new graphical assets. Because of that, it's understandable that huge mods that reverse engeered the game to modify its logic to stop working. But in the end, they modified the game logic to add some qol changes like bigger stash or gold auto pick. How do you know which build are you going to play before the release? And even before the beta? Because it's the same 20 yo game, same mechanics, same content, same balance, same everything, different render.įrom the beginning they said this is going to be a new 3d render running on top of the old game (I don't remember if they said it would be possible to switch back and forth between the new and old assets).
